Is there any games that let build your avatar and chat with other people around the world?

I love games that let you build your own character, chat, and just hang out. I know alot of games such as Boombang, habbo hotel, club penguin, mokitown, and barbie girls. Is there any more? They have to be free and u dont have to download it. Thanx!

Why don’t you want to download something? The only reason I can think of is that some downloads take hours. If that’s the reason, then try Second Life. Yes you have to download the client software and install it, but it really doesn’t take very long – maybe 10 minutes tops to both download and install, but what with creating your account, choosing a name, selecting a starting avatar, downloading and installing the client software, the entire process may take 30 to 45 minutes.

OK, here’s the really cool thing. For the inconvenience of having to spend up to 45 minutes doing all of that, you are going to get a free game that looks better than anything you’ve ever played before; fulfills ALL of your other requirements and gives you so much more as well.

Your avatar is a 3D character in a totally 3D world. She looks very realistic. Although there are thousands of shops where you can buy clothes, hair, shoes, skins, body shapes and jewellery, there are plenty of freebie ones about too (in fact, I have a freebie starter kit I give away).

Chatting and hanging with friends from all over the world is something you said you were interested in. Well that is easy in Second Life as there are people from all over the world who are residents in SL. I have friends from Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Canada, The USA and my native UK. Can they all speak English? No. Can I speak their languages? No. But there are free language translators available in SL, so we can chat with no problems. And make no mistake – from the moment you arrive on Orientation Island, you will start making new friends from all over the world.

As to where you can hang, well, all I can say is that there are far too many things to do and places to go to list here. Going shopping is SL is a major hobby, but that costs money. There are ways to make money in SL, but it’s much easier to buy $1000 worth of SL currency (about $4 in real money). Going to clubs and dancing is free as are going to see live performers. In fact, very few events in SL have a charge – the last one I remember having to pay for was a Blues Festival in November last year.

And the ultimate thing about the whole friends thing is that certain friends gradually become dates – then boy/girlfriend and eventually partner. You can even get married in SL – not legally binding in the real world of course.

Try and put up with the thing about downloading – make an exception this time – and you won’t regret it at all.

I’m looking for some games online without me having to pay or download or anything like that. If u have the answer don’t give me a stupid, retarded, or dumb answer like (runescape, barbie dressup, ect.) Because I’m a girl but I still dont like dumb barbie or dressup games.
